Hi, I’m Alli Annerino

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stretched thin, or unsure where to begin, you're in the right place. I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #152155) offering trauma-informed therapy in California. I provide online and in-person therapy for individuals, couples, children, teens, and families throughout Los Angeles and California. I support clients working through anxiety, trauma, depression, perfectionism, burnout, relationship stress, and major life transitions through a warm and collaborative approach.

MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
I bring compassion, curiosity, and a deeply relational lens to every session. I also use gentle humor when it helps clients feel more grounded and at ease. My therapeutic approach integrates Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and the Gottman Method to support emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and meaningful, lasting change.

WHO I SUPPORT BEST
I work well with high performers and perfectionists managing chronic stress or burnout; parents, couples, and families seeking stronger communication and connection; children and teens experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, school stress, or family transitions; adults healing from trauma, attachment wounds, or major life changes; and men who are survivors of domestic violence or who may be questioning whether their experiences were abusive and need a safe, nonjudgmental space to process what happened.

MY CLINICAL BACKGROUND
Before joining Cooperative Counseling Center, I trained extensively in community mental health at Valley Family Center, where I provided therapy for individuals, couples, children, teens, and families navigating complex trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, identity development, and high-conflict family systems. I also facilitated group programs focused on emotional-skills building for kids, sexual-abuse awareness and prevention, and support for domestic-violence survivors. These experiences built a strong foundation for my trauma-sensitive, attachment-focused clinical work.

RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
I serve as a research assistant under neuropsychologist Dr. Melissa Huy, PhD, contributing to a study on burnout and resilience presented at Pepperdine University’s International Research Symposium in Switzerland. This research informs my work with clients navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, high-achieving environments, and chronic overwhelm.

A SUPPORTIVE SPACE FOR HEALING
Whether you’re seeking therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, relationship issues, or family conflict, I’m here to help you feel more grounded, supported, and empowered. If you’re looking for a Los Angeles therapist or online therapy in California, I’m honored to walk alongside you with compassion, presence, and attunement as you move toward the life and relationships you want.
